Making sure our patients are always safe in our practice

Here at Claydon Dental, we like to make sure that patient safety is our first priority, part of this is making sure that all of our staff are trained in first-aid and basic life support should they be needed to respond to any unforeseen issues.

We thrive to ensure the care we are providing is of the highest standard and is always undertaken with our patient’s health and safety in mind.

Unfortunately, at times it is impossible to predict when a patient or visitor to our practice may fall ill, to prepare for such an incident we make sure all of our staff are trained in first-aid and these certificates are updated regularly.

This week we welcomed Rob, from Ace BLS, to our practice to update our staff training in basic life support first-aid care.

We have been fortunate enough not to utilise these skills in our practice but it is still important to refresh our knowledge on using the latest emergency equipment so that the whole team feel comfortable in their skills should an unfortunate situation arise.
