How Often should you visit your dentist - Oral Health Care

Claydon Dental Covid-19 Update

RE: Coronavirus.

Firstly we would like to ensure that you and your families are keeping safe during this current situation. It is with sadness that we need to announce the temporary closure of the Claydon Dental practice for all appointments until further notice.

We wish to reassure you that we will be providing a level of emergency care services for all registered patients. If you have family members staying with you during the lockdown please contact us so that we can register them also.  First point of call is to call the practice on 01908 771 170 and our phone service will happily take a message and arrange for one of the dental team to call you back.

The member of the team will determine if you are required to come to the practice but at this stage we can only offer pain relief and antibiotics.

When attending for emergency care we would like to outline the following protocol.

  • Only one patient will be allowed in the building at a time (excludes carers with children or vunerable adults ).
  • We will be using enhanced cross infection control so don’t be surprised if the dentist and nurse look like they are of the Star Wars set.
  • We will also be providing phone and if necessary video consultations for advice. This can be used for non emergency questions and  dental advice also.

Finally I would like to wish you and your families a safe and healthy few months until we beat this thing which we will.

We look forward to seeing you all again as soon as we have the clearance to fully reopen.

Thank you,

Claydon Dental Team
